Head of Security Analytics & Performance
Permanent | Remote, UK- based
We are partnered with an established legal technology organisation that is continuing to strengthen its cyber security capability and is seeking an experienced security leader to take ownership of analytics, performance and operational insight across the function.
This is a senior role focused on improving how security performance is measured, understood and communicated across the organisation.
Role responsibilities
You will develop the frameworks, metrics and reporting needed to provide a clear view of security posture, operational effectiveness and emerging risk, while working closely with security leadership, technology teams and senior business stakeholders.
You will lead the development of security analytics and performance reporting, bringing together data from across cyber security operations to create meaningful insight for both technical and executive audiences.
Your remit will include defining KPIs and KRIs, improving security dashboards, identifying trends and areas of concern, and ensuring leadership teams have the information required to make informed risk and investment decisions.
You will also play an important role in improving the maturity of security governance and performance management across the organisation.
Experience sought:
Significant experience within cyber security, security operations or security governance.
Strong background in security metrics, analytics and performance reporting.
Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, KRIs and executive-level reporting.
Ability to analyse complex security data and translate findings into clear business insight.
Strong understanding of cyber risk, operational security and security assurance.
Experience working with senior stakeholders in complex or regulated organisations.
Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills.
Experience within legal, professional services or another highly regulated environment would be beneficial, as would exposure to SIEM, SOC reporting, threat intelligence or security operations data.
