Product Owner – Life & Pensions

Contract | 3-Month Rolling | London / Hybrid

We are working with a specialist consultancy delivering transformation programmes across the financial services sector. They are looking to engage experienced Product Owners with strong knowledge of the Life & Pensions market to support a major client programme.

This is a delivery-focused role where you will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and third-party suppliers to translate complex requirements into clear product priorities and ensure solutions deliver measurable business value.

You will take ownership of the product backlog, define and refine user stories, establish acceptance criteria and support delivery teams throughout the development lifecycle. You will also play an important role in balancing business, regulatory and technical requirements within a complex financial services environment.

Key experience required:

• Proven experience working as a Product Owner within financial services.

• Strong Life & Pensions product knowledge.

• Experience delivering technology or digital transformation programmes.

• Confident management and prioritisation of product backlogs.

• Strong Agile delivery experience, including user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills across both business and technology teams.

• Ability to operate effectively within complex, regulated environments.

Previous consultancy or client-facing experience would be highly advantageous .

Contract details

• 3-month rolling contract.

• Hybrid working with regular presence in London.

• Competitive day rate c£550 per day, dependent on experience.
