Senior Transformation Project Manager

We are working with a complex, purpose-led organisation that is undertaking a significant programme of business and technology change and is looking for an experienced Senior Transformation Project Manager to lead a portfolio of strategically important initiatives.

The role will give you end-to-end ownership of major projects, from initial definition and business case through delivery, implementation and benefits realisation.

You will work across both technology and operational change, bringing together multidisciplinary teams and ensuring projects remain commercially sound, well governed and aligned with wider organisational priorities.

The Opportunity

You will take responsibility for complex transformation projects involving multiple stakeholders, suppliers and internal teams. Alongside planning and delivery, you will provide clear reporting to senior leadership, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure organisational change is properly embedded rather than simply delivered technically.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing robust project plans, business cases and delivery approaches.

• Managing budgets, risks, dependencies and project governance.

• Leading technical and business teams through complex change.

• Providing concise reporting and recommendations to senior decision-makers.

• Managing stakeholder expectations and resolving issues that could affect delivery.

• Tracking outcomes and benefits through implementation and project closure.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have successfully delivered technology-led business improvement or transformation programmes within complex organisations.

You will be confident working independently, comfortable handling challenging stakeholder environments and able to communicate equally effectively with technical specialists and senior non-technical audiences.

A recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM or equivalent is expected, alongside degree-level education or comparable professional experience.
